Margaret Thatcher will be Buried with full Military Honor

Margaret Hilda Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher born on the 13th October 1925 has been confirmed dead today 8th April 2013 by her family at the age of 87.
During her lifetime, she served as the prime minister of the United Kingdom and she was the first and only woman to have held the post, a post she held for 11 years from 1979 – 1990.

"With great sadness Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning," the family said in a statement. The former Conservative prime minster has long been unwell with mental health problems and has led a private life.

Thatcher was famous the world over as the 'Iron Lady' – a nickname given to her for her stern unyielding leadership in the face of industrial action ( an exemplary character she learned from her father, a local preacher, who brought her up as a strict Methodist).

Baroness Thatcher will be buried at St Paul's Cathedral. She will be given full military honors, and given all the respect that a figure of her importance deserves.
